It hit me like a ton of bricks, I was heading to an early grave just like my Dad unless I made some drastic changes to my life.

When my Dad died of a heart attack at 60, and my Mom died six weeks later, I was devastated. It was especially painful that he would never be able to fulfill his promise to my mother that after 35 years of working tirelessly as the vice president of an oil company, leaving him almost no time for his family, that they finally would spend their retirement years together enjoying the fruits of his labor.

I never considered the idea of following in my Dad’s footsteps in the oil business, but when I turned 50, I took a hard look at my life and realized that I was heading in a very similar direction to my Dad. I was working 70 hours a week and had no time to do anything for myself or my family.

I realized it didn't have to be this way. I decided to find a way to create a life that I could enjoy now and into the future. I began searching for ways to accomplish my goals and met with a lot of disappointment. In fact, I was almost ready to give up my search when two years ago I met Don. He presented me with a powerful opportunity that would allow me to live my life around what matters most.

Since Joining Don and the the DebonairU Community I have been able to step away from that job and get my freedom back.  I am now a Certified DebonairU Life Mastery Coach, and International best-selling author.
